OVERVIEW

There is already a chatbot situated on the website, but with the emergence of AI technology and also with especially Japanese users who value "omotenashi" (a culture that values guests and looks after them), we aimed to create mockups for an avatar chatbot and create the flow that follows.

ITERATIONS

A "SWITCH TO AR" button was installer on the regular chatbot, but requests were given to eliminate the option as guests preferred having one chat or the other and not combined to decrease development bug issues.

TAKEAWAYS

A new avatar is in heavy consideration as the current avatar is not user-friendly.
